About Us - School Tour - Playground Images

Our Buddy bench.

Children who do not have a friend to play with at break time or unch time can go to the buddy bench and other pupils will invite them to join in their play.

This scheme has proved hugely successful and has been a great way of promoting friendship and caring for each other throughout the school.

The Garden Committee was formed prior to our centenary year.
The garden was created to enhance the playground environment and it provides an outdoor learning and teaching area.

We have also embarked on an ambitious playground improvement project, for which we are seeking external funding as well as fund-raising ourselves.

In Autumn 2007 we implemented the first stage of the playground re-development, a traversing wall.

Since the start of the 2007-2008 academic year pupils have been very busy working on a project with parent helpers to design and create mosaic artwork with an ocean theme to decorate the 3 planters in the playground. January 2008 saw the first of the planters completed and the remaining 2 will be finished by Springtime 2008.
